Abstract
With the collapse of the Soviet Union and the beginning of the era of globalization, a new approach in the realm of international relations emerged, which can be referred to as the era of multilateralism. In this period, the economic cooperation between countries has gained increasing importance,. pursue its strategic interests, and adopt an expansive foreign policy, has sought to enhance its relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Conversely, the UAE, in an effort to elevate its geopolitical standing, also strives to expand its economic relations with other countries, including India.Given these considerations, the main research question in this study is: What are the characteristics of India's economic diplomacy strategy towards the United Arab Emirates, and what goals does it aim to achieve? The research method employed in this paper is qualitative, utilizing a descriptive-analytical approach. The data collection tools for this study include books, articles, reports, internet databases, and so forth. In conclusion, within the framework of interdependence theory, it was determined that India, through a soft power approach in economic matters, pursues significant objectives such as maintaining a balance of power against China, promoting Indian culture in the Gulf region, and creating strategic depth against Pakistan.
