Abstract

With the collapse of the Soviet Union and the beginning of the era of globalization, the multilateralism approach was formed in international relations, and economic diplomacy became more important as a tool to expand economic cooperation among countries and realize their interests. India has increasingly engaged with Israel, using economic diplomacy to secure energy security, pursue strategic interests, and advance its development-oriented foreign policy. On the other hand, Israel has expanded its economic relations with other countries to improve its geopolitical position. The main question of this research is: what are the characteristics of India's economic diplomacy strategy towards Israel, and what goals does it aim to achieve? This research was carried out qualitatively and with a descriptive-analytical approach, and its information was collected from various sources such as books, articles, and reports. This research shows that using its smart power, India seeks to adopt Israel’s right-wing as a suitable governance model, spread Indian culture in Israel, and create strategic depth against China.
