[English]

This research examines the complex relationship between the United States and China in the Taiwan Strait through a network of geopolitical tensions, economic interdependencies, and regional security considerations. The importance and necessity of analyzing the relations between the United States and China in the Taiwan Strait lies in clarifying the basis of the relations between these two powers, which has important regional and international consequences. The main question that guides this research is: how does strategic ambiguity affect the dynamics of deterrence in the Taiwan Strait? This research aims to investigate the role of strategic ambiguity in the context of deterrence in the Taiwan Strait. The main hypothesis is that strategic ambiguity can increase deterrence by creating uncertainty and increasing the costs of possible aggression, which may lead to instability in the Taiwan Strait. To achieve this goal, quantitative and qualitative analysis will be used, including analysis of documents, policies, expert reviews, and historical case studies.
